Operator data. FAA public records (Part 135 certificates, aircraft registry), business contact details and aircraft photos published on operator websites, and any corrections, photos or rates operators submit themselves through our links.
Broker data. Contact details you give us and the trip requests you submit.
Aircraft position data. Aircraft movement data from public sources — community ADS-B receiver networks and FAA data feeds. This concerns aircraft, not people.
Technical data. Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.
To match broker requests with operators, deliver those requests, report request outcomes, and improve data quality. Rates operators confirm privately are used only for matching calibration and are never displayed to anyone.
Aircraft position data is used the same way: it helps decide which operators a request reaches — an aircraft already near the trip is a better match. Positions are not displayed to brokers or anyone else, and we honor the FAA's LADD (Limiting Aircraft Data Displayed) list.
We don't sell personal data. We don't share broker request data with any affiliated company that sells charter. We don't publish operator pricing that operators haven't chosen to publish.
We send SMS only to people who have opted in — operators who agree verbally on a call with our team, or who reply to our email or SMS outreach. Message frequency is low and varies with broker activity for your aircraft; message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help; full terms are in our SMS messaging terms.
No mobile information — including phone numbers and SMS opt-in or consent data — is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or rent mobile numbers. Mobile data may be shared only with the service providers that help us deliver these messages (for example, our telephony provider), solely to send the messages you asked for.
Operator records mirror public sources and are refreshed weekly. Operators can correct any field or remove photos via the link in any of our emails, or by writing to operators@taildirect.com. To stop receiving requests entirely, use the mute link in any email.
